Did you know that as a believer, you already carry the power that raised Jesus from the dead? Drawing from Galatians 5, Romans 8:13, and 1 Peter 1:23, we learned that being born again means incorruptible seed now lives in your spirit. The fruit of the Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, and self-control — is already inside you. You do not need to pray for it. You need to act on it, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:13 reminds us that through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can habitually put to death the deeds of the body and truly live. That freedom is not something you chase — it already lives in you.
